Local artist Lucy Burgess painted and gifted this artwork to the Funky Monkey café in Davenport. The painting is called ‘The Carers Arms’.
“Inspired by all the work that our key workers have been doing and all the anonymous people working behind the scenes to keep everything ticking over that we don’t get to hear too much about. I have gifted this painting after creating a competition for people to nominate who they thought would be a worthy recipient. The Funky Monkey Coffee Company in Davenport have now got it on their wall after an overwhelming response to their awesome contribution during lockdown for their amazing community service.” Lucy Burgess.
