This rock snake in Cheadle was spotted by one of our Museum Officers. Each of the rocks has been decorated by someone with paint, and placed in a long line to create a snake-like art installation of well wishes and support for the community. Painted rocks such as this have become very popular all over the world, as a way of spreading joy and positive messages. There have been a few found around Stockport – including one at Vernon Park too!
